Safety Adviser

To ensure and enhance the safety for transport of dangerous goods, the European Council issued Directive 96/35/EC, obligating transport companies to install a safety adviser before 1 January 2000.   Huktra NV, in compliance with its own high  safety measurements and the European Directive, appointed a staff member to obtain the Safety Adviser Certificate.

This certificate was validated in July 1999, officially installing Gerd Van Poucke as Huktra NV's Safety Adviser for transport of all dangerous goods by road, rail and inland waterways.
