SCOPA

SCOPA, or the Seed Crushers and Oil Processors' Association, is the trade association for companies engaged in oilseed extraction and oil refining and processing in the United Kingdom. Huktra NV, as an official SCOPA haulier, is committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality of the oils and fats they transport for the food industry.  For that reason, a special Huktra edible fleet is dedicated to the carriage of food grade products only. This dedicated edible fleet operates under the SCOPA Code of Practice.  This code covers the transport of all oil and fats, crude and refined, including acid oils and fatty acids, which are destined either directly or eventually for human consumption or for incorporation in animal feeds.
