Safety and Quality Assessment Systems
for Road Haulage and Intermodal Transport

Huktra NV carries out all transport operations in a safe and quality manner, with due regard for the protection of employees, the public and the environment.  The SQAS package for road haulage and intermodal transport audits those safety, quality and environmental aspects of Huktra NV's transport services.

It deals primarily with the managerial aspects of a transport company, but part of the assessment consists of verifying that the management system has been effectively and consistently implemented providing a high level of operational quality and safety.

The SQAS-audit for Huktra NV was carried out as early as in 1995, and it gives Huktra several benefits in its long-term relationships with customers.  A renewal SQAS-audit was done in Autumn 2002.
