About Huktra NV, the European tank container operator


HUKTRA NV, established in 1976 in Zeebrugge, Belgium, operated a partnership for a number of years with a Widnes (UK) based company.  This partnership agreement was ended in 1995 and replaced by a fully owned office in Trafford Park in Manchester which represents Huktra commercially and operationally in the United Kingdom ever since.

Unfortunately, our former partner from Widnes continues to operate under our brand name, and still runs its fleet in our logo and livery.  We strongly disagree with this deliberately misleading business practice.  As towards the motives for their action, we can only assume that our former business partners are seeking to make commercial use of our recognised and successful European profile and image.

It is clear and indisputable that the Huktra name, logo and brand colours were established back in 1976 at Zeebrugge, where the company was founded.
